A customer came into the shop complaining her new hardwood flooring accentuated how unattractive her old paint grade ceiling beams were. We suggested that new hand distressed wood beams that more matched her floors would solve that problem.
We used unfinished ¾ white oak solid, select grade pieces of wood and created six beams 31 feet long, 8-inch-wide and 15 inches tall beams. We hand distressed them and then painstakingly stained them to match her hardwood flooring.
She is now very happy. It’s good to have a custom mill at your disposal.
